gstack-upgrade automates upgrading the gstack CLI to the latest release while clearly communicating changes and protecting your workflow. It detects global vs vendored installs, runs the appropriate upgrade flow (including./setup), and presents release notes/"what's new". Upgrades can run interactively or automatically: if auto-upgrade is enabled it proceeds and logs "Auto-upgrading gstack v{old} → v{new}..."; otherwise it prompts the user with options (upgrade now, always auto-upgrade, snooze, never ask). The skill performs safe rollbacks by restoring from a.bak backup if setup fails, supports configurable snooze backoff, persists auto-upgrade preferences, and logs outcomes. Use it to keep developer machines, CI agents, or servers current with minimal friction and robust failure handling.
