This Skill standardizes LaTeX document compilation and project management for papers, presentations, and academic content. It enforces an out/ build directory while ensuring the compiled PDF is copied back to the source directory via a.latexmkrc that is created if missing. It embeds safety checks: never invent BibTeX entries (verify via CrossRef/DOI/Google Scholar), and inspect the document class before adding packages to avoid conflicts. It documents Overleaf sync behavior (out/ ignored by Overleaf,.latexmkrc also ignored) and the location rules for.bst files. For local-only projects it preserves the same out/ and.latexmkrc conventions and supports an automated /latex-autofix. Includes a working-paper template fallback strategy.
